I am not known for quitting, even when that might be the smart option. That is what happened the first time I cinched down tight and the chute opened. And that is why I am still working to reinvent Coffee With Jim.
We had a good thing going. We were sharing America’s story and inspiring road trips. And we were providing inspirational folks with a platform.
The slow but steady growth in followers and the increase in comments provided clear indication that we were creating something that people liked. As one reviewer so aptly put it, Coffee With Jim was a virtual diner where folks gathered on Sunday morning to talk about road trips and America’s amazing story.
And then Podbean announced that they were suspending the live stream option. Now what? Contrary to the impression given, I am not overly tech savvy.
I know that this not news for followers. After all I have been ranting for a couple of months now.
But I like to believe that we are getting closer. Now that I am relatively caught up from the trip to Tulsa, I am dedicating an hour or two to rebuilding the podcast, the livestream version, on the Jim Hinckley’s America YouTube channel.
The Podbean version of Coffee With Jim is now a recorded program posted every Friday. The focus is on a fascinating chapter in the American story.
In a nutshell, we are continuing work to build a multifaceted platform for the sharing of America’s story and the inspiring of road trips. After all, Jim Hinckley’s America is built on a passion for telling people where to go.
